A proper installation requires a clear understanding of the electrical code, and manufacturers installation guidelines. The home owner relies on the contractor to do things by these codes and guidelines. We have corrected many installs, for home owners who thought they had a good installation. Questions to ask: Proof of insurance, proof of License, proof of generator certification. With out all three the job shouldn’t be done.
